Guerrero Media brings executives’ leadership stories to life. Our media services, ranging from editorial content to networking and event services, help executives grow their companies, build great teams, and stand out from their peers.

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join the Audience & Engagement team to be the keeper and strategic innovator of Guerrero’s portfolio of brands, consisting of five magazine brands (American Builders Quarterly, Modern Counsel, American Healthcare Leader, Profile, Hispanic Executive), and the Guerrero company brand. As a member of the Audience & Engagement team, you’ll drive audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram) by scheduling content, writing copy, and translating performance results into actionable insights. Your role will not only be to give greater voice to our brands, but also track and forecast the evolvement of social platforms so each of our brands keeps pace in terms of strategy. You will report to the Head of Audience and Engagement and work closely with the Creative Production Director.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (PJRs):

  1. Effectively own, develop, and manage the day-to-day social media execution for six brands across platforms that include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  2. Write engaging, actionable copy that adheres to our company style and per-brand guidelines and, in doing so, takes into account the voice of each brand.
  3. Develop a unified social media calendar spanning multiple customer segments, themes, and brands in collaboration with our editorial and A&E teams.
  4. Work with the creative production designers to create assets for social campaigns and editors for the strategy in rolling out those campaigns as it applies to the brand content.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders in departments outside of creative production and A&E for insight into both our content and clients and how to best leverage them on social media.
  6. Actively engage with executives and vendors—both featured in our publications and independent of them—across each brand’s social media platforms. Create conversation.
  7. Analyze and assess performance across company social media channels and prepare monthly scorecards to present to the Leadership team that include, as an example, performance of individual posts (impressions, click-through rates, read time).
  8. Study broad trends across social platforms to better understand ROI and capture insights for future social strategies.
  9. Consume features across brands so that the social strategy keeps aligned with that content and the posts properly articulate that content, but with a tailored social media voice.
  10. In addition to keeping up to date on new features and offerings within the social media landscape, set up quarterly workshops with the broader A&E and editorial teams as a means of educating them on by-brand analytics and upcoming strategies.
  11. Work with key sales stakeholders on the monetization of social platforms where applicable.
  12. Own and manage any relationship with outside consultants or agency liaisons, when applicable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
