Our marketing team is seeking a self-driven, passionate, and organized Social Media Manager to join them in our Chicago headquarters! Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skillset.This is a hybrid position located at our Chicago corporate office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains a social media calendar and content plan that aligns with the overall marketing and communications strategy.
  • Monitors social media analytics, tracks campaign performance, and makes data-driven decisions.
  • Expands social media presence and engagement by generating creative and innovative ideas. 
  • Collaborates closely with the creative team to develop and approve daily social media posts. 
  • Consistently monitors and applies relevant social media trends. 
  • Develops campaign-based social media strategies for product launches and promotions in alignment with communications plans. 
  • Edits and writes journalistic content, including blogs, LinkedIn posts, and press releases.
  • Assists in managing and posting on the internal company portal. 
  • Supports the execution of internal company and public relations events. 
  • Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. 
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned. 
  • Adherence to the hybrid work policy with consistent on-site attendance as required (2-3 days in office, weekly)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree inmarketing, communications, journalism, orrelated field 
  • 3-5 year experience working in a social media department (b2b focus is a plus), including some organizing, planning, and executing a social media calendar with content plan.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

  • Basic knowledge of the Company’s business and products 
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok,etc.)
  • Strong skills insocial media management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
