Social Media Marketer
Southeast Wisconsin
Palmyra, WI

Under the direction of the Senior Content Strategist, the Social Media Marketer will be responsible for managing our social media platforms by implementing strategies and tactics thatgrow and retain our audiences, engage them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company.

  • Manage our company’s social media profiles and presence, primarily on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with additional focus on Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant channels
  • Direct and closely manage outside agencies’ budgets and work on a day-to-day basis
  • In partnership with our outside agency, create an annual content and engagement strategy and apply that strategy towards creation of monthly content
  • Socialize events at Standard Process and in our industry that are not part of the monthly strategy, to remain timely and relevant
  • Lead community listening, management and engagement activities to build meaningful connections and encourage our audience to take action
  • Cultivate partnerships with outside organizations and outlets to develop mutually-beneficial campaigns
  • Develop and manage influencer strategies that grow our brand reach and create meaningful engagement
  • In conjunction with our social listening tools, partner with our Commercial Analytics team to analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Closely monitor industry trends and learnings to leverage best practices and new technologies


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field required


  • Social media certification preferred (e.g. Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite, NISM)
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification preferred


  • 5-10 years of experience in social media
  • Experience in directing and managing outside agencies

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of engagement strategies for unique social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of advertising strategies for unique social platforms
  • Understanding of key social media metrics; able to interpret results and take action to increase effectiveness of campaigns
