ABOUT THIS POSITION

Looking for an internship in social media and PR? A perfect opportunity has arrived! Join the Greatest Digital Content Team in the world! Why is it the greatest? Besides the amazing people, you will be a part of a team that lives to help others and has fun doing so. You will be:

  • Providing timely, empathetic, and informed responses to social media messages
  • Assisting with finding and pitching patient stories to news outlets
  • Write and develop long-form articles with the goal of educating and bringing awareness to target audiences and fostering a community with current patients

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Assist with finding patient stories through social media moderation and Inspire ambassadors 
  • Write summaries for personalized Media Kits to pitch patient stories to news outlets 
  • Manage and update existing materials for tracking PR stories 
  • Create organic social media posts for PR stories and submit for approval with our legal and regulatory team.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

  • Working toward (or already completed) a four-year degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or business. 
  • Strong writing and communication skills 
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube 
  • Excellent time management 
  • Exceptional MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills 
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools and applications

Preferred:

  • Photography/Design skills 
  • Content development skills
