Social Media Specialist

As we look toward the future, we recognize the need to remain relevant and top of mind when it comes to well-made children’s clothing. We are aiming to continuously improve our social presence and content strategies to reach our target audience where they are, and to call to attention the continued impeccable quality and timelessness of our brand. As Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for executing Florence Eiseman’s social media marketing strategies and analytics along with driving brand awareness through targeted campaigns. This position will report to the Director of Marketing in the organization.

  • Proactively and reactively develop social and mobile channels including well-written copy and design (with graphic designer support) that meets the goals of the brand 
  • Manage social media and email calendars under Marketing Director supervision, maintain daily content calendar and build a selection of content for FE’s social channels 
  • Lead the charge with ideating and creating unique content for social media channels in video and behind-the-scenes footage to increase engagement and awareness 
  • Analyze performance metrics via social management platform tools to optimized content for maximum impact 
  • Build monthly performance reports and social listening reports to share with senior leadership 
  • Be the social media expert of the company - stay up to date with latest digital marketing trends and best practices on social media, recommending modifications to channels as needed
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, related area, or related experience 
  • 3+ years experience in social media marketing; working with a wide range of creative formats including: image, video, and link content, as well as live videos, 360 videos and images and/or GIFs 
  • Strong knowledge of social content best practices and content specifications in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn Proven experience in content strategy and social media management 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proactive, positive, can-do attitude with desire to collaborate with others 
  • Passion for continuing to evolve a historic Milwaukee brand that means so much to generations of customers 
  • Experience in creating and monitoring social media metrics, tracking performance and providing regular reports to assess effectiveness of content
