A Day in the Life.

  • Support Social Media Manager in providing expertise and support on social media listening, publishing, engagement and measurement best practices
  • Project manage efforts to develop and optimize global social media campaigns, including platform management and use, content development and execution, and monitor and response processes, working closely with cross-functional partners
  • Work with various teams and stakeholders to strategize, source, create and approve multimedia content for social media that supports business objectives
  • Collaborate with analytics teams and other stakeholders to create social media campaign reports that provide actionable insights
  • Work with and advise Groups / Regions on approaches, processes, and platforms to support publishing, community management, and measurement
  • Leverage deep, hands-on experience as user of social media platforms and executor of social media communication strategies and campaigns
  • Provide ongoing training and education to the extended team about better integrating social media marketing into individual marketing plans
  • Be a subject matter expert and support internal questions related to platform implementation and use
  • Run monitoring program to ensure social media policies & guidelines are implemented – escalate and help resolve any issues
  • Help project manage efforts to build communities, or monitor/manage key influencers

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree

Nice to Have:

  • Experience delivering social media strategy and execution, both paid and organic 
  • Working knowledge and experience of enterprise social media management platforms, Spredfast preferred 
  • Proficiency in the technical aspects of desktop and mobile social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram
  • Awareness and general understanding of global social media landscape 
  • Social media work experience in a regulated industry 
  • Demonstrate speed, agility, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills in their work 
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening
