Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our team!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Writes, edits, and publishes social media content daily, utilizing original text, images, or videos that build meaningful connections and encourage prospects, customers, and employees to take action 
  • Builds and executes a social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification 
  • Sets up and optimizes the company’s pages within each social platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content 
  • Monitors social media comments and messages, responding in a timely fashion, and elevating concerns to human resources and customer experience stakeholders 
  • Creates comprehensive, enterprise-wide editorial calendars and gains approvals from stakeholders when necessary 
  • Continuously improves social media efficacy by capturing and analyzing social data and metrics, insights and best practices, and acting on that information 
  • Collaborates with brand, marketing, customer relations, human resources, and sales teams to shape the company’s image and values to the market 
  • Assists content writers in the creation and execution of media content, including press releases 
  • Keeps up to date with the latest social media and digital marketing best practices 
  • Keeps current on project status; makes sure people are aware of project status and what they need to do to keep things moving; elevates project concerns to senior levels of leadership when appropriate 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field plus 1-2 years of progressive professional experience in a social media or digital marketing role. 
  • Possess a consultative mindset that promotes creativity, effectiveness in appealing to customers, efficiency and revenue growth 
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tight timeframes, handle frequent interruptions, and refocus efforts as needed based on changing priorities 
  • Hands-on experience in creating social media content for a large business that contains many different types of buyers and product solutions across a wide degree of industries 
  • Proven experience in social media campaigns that drive increased engagement and higher brand visibility on a variety of social media channels 
  • Strong writer with experience in design and video best practices as they relate to social media platforms

  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager 
  • Meta Business Suite 
  • YouTube Creator Studio
