PRIMARY FUNCTION:

As a member of the Marketing team, the Social Media Strategist will partner with their extended team to enhance and grow online brand awareness across Omni Workspace companies.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop, execute, and manage the corporate social media strategy and calendar. 
  2. Create and curate original and captivating content – copy, video, photography, graphics, stories, etc., in partnership with the Director of Brand + Creative. 
  3. Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assist in creating an insights-driven narrative while increasing engagement and productivity of posts. 
  4. Identify influential opportunities and help convert our brand fans into loyal customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, and captivating social media interactions. 
  5. Write long- and short-form social media messages that attract new users and engage current users. 
  6. Post and interact on social media to increase online presence and response time. 
  7. Imagine and create web posts that nurture community interaction and conversation. 
  8. Stay up-to-date with and successfully leverage competitive industry trends, insights, and best practices. 
  9. Assist with enterprise-wide digital strategies to streamline communication and content management. 
  10. Partner with Digital Marketing Manager to assist with online content – blogs, website, case studies, and visual media.

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • INTERNAL: Collaborate with marketing team, shared services, and key stakeholders in all Omni brands to ensure smooth workflow and flawless execution. 
  • EXTERNAL: Works with external partners and outside resources including photographers and key vendors to execute responsibilities. Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design 
  • 6+ years’ experience in social media marketing
  • Experience with managing corporate social media accounts on behalf of a brand (multiple brands is a plus) 
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, best practices, and ability to produce eye-catching and engaging content 
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms in the online and social media space 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Occasional flexible hours to accommodate early morning or evening events

DESIRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understanding of the commercial furniture industry and social media trends, influencers 
  • Photography experience (video is a plus)
