Social Media Strategist

Marshfield Clinic Health System is the largest private group medical practice in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the United States, with more than 1,200 medical providers representing 90 specialties and subspecialties. The System has more than 50 locations in 34 Wisconsin communities in northern, central and western Wisconsin, including hospitals in Marshfield, Eau Claire, Ladysmith, Minocqua, Neillsville, Park Falls, Rice Lake, Weston, and Beaver Dam.

The Social Media Strategist is responsible for specific aspects of social media for Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). This role’s emphasis is on designing social media strategies to increase MCHS web traffic and brand awareness, and managing, creating and producing original, high quality content on across MCHS’s social media platforms. The Social Media Strategist is expected to assist in any marketing, communications, media relations, social media and public relations areas as required.

Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field
• Three years of experience working professionally with various types of social media, demonstrated ability to gather information/data to plan, produce and edit quality content on a timely basis
• Demonstrated proficiency of strong verbal skills, and use of Microsoft Office suite and various social media software reporting and scheduling tools
