POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will execute aspects of AtriCure’s participation in national/regional conventions, the global sales meeting and other sales meetings for AtriCure. Activities include planning, coordination and on-site execution including housing, audio visual, food and beverage, and activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Execute aspects of national and regional conventions, global sale meeting, regional sales/training meetings, and marketing/product advisory board meetings. 
  • Manage housing, staffing, badges and attendee communication for national and regional conventions 
  • Coordinate and assist with development of booth graphics, animations and procurement of product samples. 
  • Manage venue, scheduling, audio visual, food and beverage for tech suites and advisory meetings at conventions. 
  • Manage events calendar 
  • Execute on aspects of the global sales meeting including housing, audio visual, food and beverage, and activities. 
  • Coordinate additional regional sales training meetings (3-5 annually) including venue selection, housing, audio visual, food and beverage. 
  • Ensure compliance to industry rules 
  • Report key metrics related to events 
  • Maintain electronic database and electronic files for events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience 
  • 2-4 years of related experience 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently 
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to travel 25%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop 
  • Graphic design experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required 
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull 
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 25 pounds 
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
