Join our Digital & Customer Experience function within CGI's Marketing group as a Sr. Email Marketing Specialist. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) deliver email marketing campaigns to all target audiences; this role has direct responsibility to build, test, schedule, deploy, and report on all emails, and (ii) troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary to address delivery issues, excessive bounce rates, or significant unsubscribing from our global headquarters in Oak Brook IL.

E-mail Marketing Senior Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated success executing email advertising campaigns. 
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary to address delivery issues, excessive bounce rates, or significant unsubscribing. 
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM Act and all other applicable regulations and best practices. 
  • Review ESP and CRM technology platforms and make recommendations to ensure best in class support for CGI’s email marketing program. 
  • Integrate email with all other communications programs to ensure effective omni-channel view for our business customers, consumers, end users, and other partners. 
  • Deploy testing strategy across all email programs to identify most effective design considerations, messaging approach, and copy choices; build iterative improvements into process to ensure optimization. 
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

E-mail Marketing Senior Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing. 
  • 3+ years of experience in email deployment and management; 1+ years hands-on experience with Marketing Automation platform (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot). 
  • Experience with using Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Ability to travel occasionally internationally and domestically.
