In this role, you will manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities within the parameters of the Snap-on Industrial Digital Marketing program. Responsibilities include developing and delivering all social media content to customers, producing and distributing digital posts, monitoring social media presence and responding appropriately to online communities. In addition, create content for e-mail marketing campaigns directly to customers. Measure effectiveness of e-mail marketing and other digital marketing efforts. Responsible for weekly production of iKNOW Industrial newsletter.

Overview:

Snap-on is looking to hire a full time on-site Marketing and Communications Specialist to support Snap-on’s Industrial division. This position is located within Snap-on's Corporate offices at 2801 80th Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create and implement social media strategy and content for Snap-on Industrial, Williams and Bahco North America. 
  • Monitor company’s social media accounts, evaluate success of posts and adjust strategy accordingly. 
  • Analyze and track metrics, making recommendations on strategies. 
  • Design, create and implement e-mail marketing campaigns for Snap-on Industrial, Williams, Bahco North America. 
  • Create and update digital analytics dashboards to determine progress on all digital activity. 
  • Oversee and approve monthly Snap-on Tools for Life social media posts and e-mail campaigns. 
  • Produce iKNOW newsletter weekly, track metrics and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to produce and deploy content as appropriate, including but not limited to videos, product content, PR articles and more. 
  • Assist with website design and maintenance as needed.
  • Some travel will be required (approximately 10%) 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related degree required; plus minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing
  • Demonstrable experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives as directed, exercise judgment and focus attention to detail on digital assets development and oversight activities
  • Excellent analytical and communication (written, oral, presentation) skills required; ability to communicate effectively to all levels internally and externally within an organization
  • Proactive and collaborative team member who consistently contributes new ideas and solutions and provides support as needed on all assigned projects
  • Familiarity with RCI process improvement concepts, willingness to continually review and improve processes as necessary
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Creativity and a strong sense of design 
  • Advanced knowledge of Marketo and implementing/managing marketing automation campaigns preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat, MailChimp & Google Analytics
