Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Sr. Communications Specialist for our Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO location. In this role, you will plan strategic communications in support of leadership and organization priorities. You’ll use your creativity and organization skills to define, execute, and coordinate effective employee engagement programs with integrated communications planning and content development.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Partnering with various members of the ACST Leadership Team and HR to develop and deliver strategic communications plans and messaging that support the business mission and vision 
  • Planning and executing internal events, such as quarterly town halls, executive site visits, employee recognition activities and employee briefings 
  • Developing and implementing internal communications strategies and tactics across a multi-site operation in a business expansionary phase of maturity 
  • Developing written materials (executive messages & presentations, announcements, newsletter articles, etc.) 
  • Creating channels to facilitate two-way communications flows, including special events, executive messages, town hall meetings, recorded broadcasts, the intranet, and collaborative online tools (Teams, SharePoint, etc.). 
  • Collaborating cross-functionally within the ACST organization on projects and other opportunities to improve communications support of the business

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum 2 years of communications experience 
  • U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance

  • Master’s degree 
  • Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment 
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events 
  • Ability to translate technical information into coherent communications and to work with technical audiences effectively.
