Job function:

As a Senior Designer with the Post Consumer Brands Creative Studio, you’ll focus on digital design and content creation across digital display, social, web, print, point-of-sale and video projects. You’ll collaborate on projects from concept to execution within our vast portfolio of brands – including favorites like Pebbles, Honeycomb, Grape-Nuts and Honey Bunches of Oats.

This role, which has an emphasis on digital designand content creation, reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with packaging designers, animators, copywriters, project managers, external creative partners and our marketing team.

Job activities and duties:

  • Concept and deliver polished creative content primarily for, but not limited to, digital channels. 
  • Use your skills as an expert designer to uphold, expand and create human connections with Post’s portfolio of brands. 
  • Bring big ideas and abstract concepts to life by making them viable through the design tactics and solutions you create. 
  • Ideate out-of-the-box, innovative activation ideas that reach new audiences in authentic ways. 
  • Infuse strategic thinking to each project, always keeping the real customer challenges in mind. 
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset — an ability to think of quick wins and agile ways of working to drive business audience growth 
  • Confidently lead creative presentations to peers, Studio leadership and marketing partners. 
  • Make timely decisions and manage multiple fast-paced projects at once. 
  • Ensure deadlines are met while keeping partners and stakeholders informed and involved. 
  • Actively participate in creative brief development through dialog and consultation. 
  • Strategically apply graphic design principles against creative briefs and demonstrate an ability to articulate decisions to your partners while engaging in thoughtful discussion and debate. 
  • Constantly research design, advertising, social and cultural trends that exist inside and outside our industry. 
  • Openly welcome feedback through creative critiques and demonstrate an ability to take direction. 
  • Responsible for infusing new ideas and meaningful ways brands can show up in our categories and/or culture.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5–7years experience in a graphic design position with an in-house or agency creative team. 
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design, typography and knowledge of design tools. 
  • Strong social media and digital examples are required in your portfolio. 
  • Print, in-store and packaging examples are a plus. 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat). 
  • Experience shooting your own photography and a working knowledge of camera equipment is a plus. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs is a plus.
