Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Marketing partners to manage and coordinate the measurement, tracking, and reporting of data and performance results for web pages, social media channels, email campaigns, and paid search and digital promotion activities. Leverage your analyst skills to establish new best-in-class standards across all digital & social communications activities. A Day in the Life:

Data Analysis & Customer Insights

Analyze digital and social media performance data to provide valuable strategic insights to Marketing and Marketing Communications partners. Explore digital & social media utilization, behaviors, interests, and needs of our primary customer audiences: Physicians (Electrophysiologists & Cardiologists), Patients, Allied Health Professionals, etc. Share data analysis and key customer insights to inform short and long-term digital strategies and plans. 30%

Digital Performance Measurement & Management

Lead the big picture management of digital data collection, measurement planning, and tracking functionality across all CRHF & AFS digital activities and social media channels. Act as a key consultant in the Digital strategy & planning process to define proactive end goals and measurable KPIs. Drive the establishment of measurement best practices and utilization of Adobe Analytics and other emerging digital measurement tools across CRHF & AFS Marketing and Communications functions. 20%

Digital Reporting,Training & Education

Create best practice standards for reporting and assessing digital data by establishing consistent dashboards, templates, guidelines and process discipline. Present insights, analysis, and data on product & therapy campaigns, special programs, and quarterly cross-business activities to increase the knowledge and awareness of CRHF & AFS Marketing and Communications colleagues. Provide ongoing training and education to Marketing Communications team members to build their ability to understand, explain, and present digital and social metrics with confidence. 20%

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

Partner with the CRHF & AFS Digital Strategist to regularly review social and digital metrics and performance to recommend strategies for continuous improvement and advancement. Utilize tools, strategies, and testing to inform how content is performing and quickly change or automate what content is being served based on performance data. 10%

Digital Best Practices & Process Creation

Establish CRHF & AFS digital best practices and processes acting as a liaison with our Medtronic Global Digital & Social Media (GDSM) partners to ensure process alignment, drive GDSM guidelines and requirements, resolve issues, drive execution efficiency & effectiveness. Participate on GDSM teams & meetings to ensure CRHF & AFS is informed & aligned with overall Medtronic policies and best practices. 10%

Industry/Competitive Comparison & Benchmarking

Compare and benchmark our work against industry, competitors, and best-in-class digital companies. Use and share this knowledge to develop new strategies, plans, and proposals for the direction of our overall digital and social efforts and capabilities. 10%

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 4+ years of experience in a role involving digital analytics, managing measurement activities for large multi-channel digital and social media campaigns, creating digital metrics reports, dashboards, and presentations in a corporate or agency setting

Nice to Have:

  • Strong project management skills 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud software suite specifically Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics) and Adobe Target 
  • Experience using Social Media Management tools (Khoros), AdWords, and Mobile Advertising
  • Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel and core presentation software 
  • Market research and web basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) would be beneficial 
  • Strong training, education, and presentation skills
