Position Summary:

This position is responsible for leading strategy and oversight of Sponsor Activation and Business Operations teams within Partnership Marketing which is responsible for delivering best-in-class service to Life Time Partnership Marketing business partners.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Partnership Marketing Activation Management:

  • Manage Partnership Marketing Activation. 
  • Oversee the team that executes Partnership Marketing contracts, partner entitlements, relationship management and customer service. 
  • Work with Life Time Companies Inside and Life Time Athletic Event leaders to identify opportunities for partners to connect with the right audiences, while delivering enhanced experiences for Life Time members and event participants. 
  • Lead, motivate and mentor team members to ensure departmental success and individual growth.

Business Operations:

  • Manage Partnership Marketing Business Operations 
  • Oversee the team that manages Partnership Marketing backend operations including Salesforce strategy and execution, contract management, forecasting, sales reports, and P&L’s 
  • Lead, motivate and mentor team members to ensure departmental success and individual growth.

Department Strategy:

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Sales & Strategy to develop and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategy 
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director of Sales & Strategy to manage the Department EBITDA, P&L, budgets, and expenses.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related field 
  • 7+ years of Marketing, Sports Marketing, Advertising, Athletic Event, and/or Entertainment Event experience or related field 
  • 5+ years of Management experience 
  • 5+ years of P&L and Budget Management experience

Leadership and Management:

  • Success leading and inspiring cross functional teams to deliver strong business growth plans. 
  • Strong analytical, decision making, and influencing skills. 
  • Success coaching and mentoring at the managerial and/or supervisory level. 
  • Experience leading/supporting brand development, innovation and creative ideation.
  • Demonstrates positive energy to effectively manage cross-functional teams and represent brand both internally and externally. 
  • Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track. 
  • Experience supporting organizational change. 
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial can-do attitude and strong work ethic, motivated by challenges and possesses a robust sense of curiosity, intensity and objectivity. 
  • Strong experience diagnosing and resolving complex problems and opportunities.

Project Management:

  • Possesses strong skills and experience in the field of sponsorship and/or event activation. 
  • Ability to lead initiatives and manage projects from A to Z. 
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and complete projects within required timeframes. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and execute within defined timelines and budgets. 
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. 
  • Relentless attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables. 
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Analytics and email management. 
  • Excellent written, oral communication, presentation skills.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, select early morning, late night and weekend availability is required during key event weekends.
