As a Sr. Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll develop automated, triggered, and dynamic email campaigns to drive sales, cross-sell, and up-sell throughout the Member/customer lifecycle. In order to measure and ensure campaign effectiveness, you’ll track, analyze, and report on performance of all campaigns and make recommendations for improvement. A Sr. Email Marketing Specialist has an impact on our business by:

  • Utilizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud tool to develop automated, triggered, and dynamic campaigns to drive sales, cross-sell, and up-sell throughout the Member/customer lifecycle.
  • Applying best practices when writing content for email and supporting landing pages to deliver relevant, personalized messages with consideration for list segmentation, email preferences, deliverability and CAN-SPAM compliance. 
  • Maintaining email best practices including browser compatibility, dynamic content, mobile optimization, subject lines/pre-headers and use of images, etc. 
  • Managing email list segmentation, profile attributes and subscriber delivery status and makes recommendations to grow the active subscriber list. 
  • Creating reports to track both internal and external email campaign performance and on-going Member behavior, including delivery rates, subscribes/unsubscribes, open rates, click activity and conversions. 
  • Making recommendation for improvement based on findings. 
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure successful integration of email and marketing efforts. 
  • Monitoring industry trends, researches findings and provides recommendations.

We’re looking for creative, self-motivated, inspiring individuals who have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in email marketing including automated campaign management. 
  • A minimum of two years of experience with an email marketing tool 
  • Exact Target/Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus. 
  • A minimum of one year of experience with HTML/CSS/jQuery/SQL including knowledge of the difference between coding for web and email. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, 
  • Adobe CC Illustrator/Photoshop, Email on Acid. 
  • Proven email copywriting and editing skills. 
  • The ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices including deliverability management. 
  • Return Path experience a plus. 
  • A minimum of two years of experience using Google Analytics.
