This role is responsible for executing the PSS marketing communications team's creative strategy, including promotional material, web, and events to help fill the funnel and drive revenue for the Patient Support System business unit ($1.4B) globally. You will produce both short and long form multimedia content for all company communication channels. You will apply best practices to the development of static and interactive elements (graphics, photos, videos, podcasts, animations, etc.), while maintaining the Hillrom brand standard.

As the execution partner to the marketing communications managers, this individual will create original designs based on Hillrom specifications, needs, and brand image.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the PSS marketing communications team's creative strategy, including promotional material, web, videos and events. 
  • Responsible for leading in-house video production process – including creating scripts and storyboards, digital assets, filming subject matter and editing high quality videos 
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings to understand project goals and objectives 
  • Collaborate with freelance contractors and third party agency partners on creative support 
  • Execute on creative by understanding market needs and collaborating with marketing communication managers. 
  • Produces presentation approaches by implementing layout, design, and copywriting. 
  • Ensure that projects achieve maximum results to help fill the funnel and drive PSS revenue. 
  • Ensure that job deadlines are met, ensuring that job quality is nothing short of the best. 
  • Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, and unique fonts. 
  • Facilitate product campaigns and marketing via emails, microsites, and other landing pages to boost Hillrom to customer interactions 
  • Supports Creative & Design Lead on developing content strategy and implementing strategy into content plan 
  • Manages web analytics and provides council to marketing communications team on how to optimize web performance monthly 
  • Continually improves design quality and results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes. 
  • Recommends creative changes to counterparts. 
  • Perform other duties as requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or local equivalent of same required. 
  • 5-7 years of creative experience. Minimum 3 years. 
  • Experience with web experience preferred. 
  • 1-2 years within an agency environment preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Excellent collaboration skills – ability to gain alignment with many cross-functional partners 
  • Excellent reliability and "say-to-do" ratio 
  • Innovative and ability to think outside the box 
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and deal with ambiguity 
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills – be proactive

  • Ability to showcase a portfolio of past multimedia work 
  • Ability to operate a variety of camera equipment including lighting, recorders, 3-axis gimbals, and drones. 
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Suite, including AEM, is a plus. 
  • Actively use several social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). 
  • Expert in Keynote, Google Suite, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and Animate) 
  • Understand digital marketing strategy and how it can produce a positive ROI. 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare technology market is preferred.
