Under the direction of the Creative Director, you’ll be developing compelling and authentic content that tells the AriensCo story, builds and evolves our different brands, and drives engagement with our customers. You’ll be a leader for all things design. You will manage a range of projects with ease and act as the expert on subject matter for internal and external clients. From concept to research and all the way through to completion, you will stay involved to ensure our final product is on-brand by incorporating the right tone, look and feel.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience and possess a portfolio of work exhibiting high caliber ideas and a high standard for design. In addition, this role requires experience leading large-scale design and branding projects, responding to consumer research, and an understanding of how to evolve the brand with this data. While a strong portfolio of work is required; a hunger to learn, teach, grow and adopt the AriensCo Core Values (Be Honest, Be Fair, Keep Our Commitments, Respect the Individual, and Encourage Intellectual Curiosity) is essential.

  • Design, conceptualize, and deliver high-caliber design in the form of: Packaging layouts and systems, Point of Purchase Displays, Literature, Identity Systems, Print & Digital Advertising, Environmental Graphics, B2B & B2C marketing tactics/strategies, Web UI/UX, On-product branding (e.g. decals, POP, etc) 
  • Present your designs while communicating intent and rationale 
  • Receive critiques and incorporate recommended changes into the final design 
  • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing Exhibit a high level of professionalism, with the ability to consistently and effectively communicate throughout all stages of a design project 
  • Approach design problems with precision and passion 
  • Effectively manage large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members
  • A minimum of five years experience in an agency or in-house studio 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in communication design, graphic design or similar 
  • Possess and provide a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and an ability to think at a high level 
  • A humble perspective and a willingness to teach and learn
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and camaraderie to other members of the team in the pursuit of shared team success 
  • Work with, manage and maintain work with outside vendors (print, apparel, signage, etc.)
  • Perform all tasks assigned by the Creative Director in a highly creative manner while maintaining brand standards and keeping the project goals in your crosshairs 
  • Proficiency in the latest Adobe software 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate within a fast-paced environment
