Under the guidance of the VP of Communications, the Senior Manager of Communications creates, implements and oversees the company's communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage company communication infrastructure 
  • Manage and drive a multi-channel (internal/external) communication strategy 
  • Lead company’s Intranet efforts and content and collaborate with a cross-functional team on the company website 
  • Prepare and manage internal and external communications 
  • Work with marketing to develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across the company on all platforms 
  • Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members, agencies and other external sources 
  • Assist in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content 
  • Track engagement across various platforms 
  • Manage multiple priorities to adjust to and meet goals and deadlines. 
  • Work with Sr. Leadership and Operations in identifying needs, levels, content and venues of communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline 
  • 7-plus years of communications, marketing, public relations or related experience 
  • Experience managing internal communications to drive employe engagement, and external message development, including digital content 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excell) & Google Suites 
  • Strong project management experience and skills 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies 
  • Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing 
  • Impeccable copywriting and copy editing abilities 
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills 
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing 
  • Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) 
  • Strong leadership and progressive advancement track record 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize 
  • Ability to operate in a fast pace and quickly changing environment

This position will operate in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment to include but not limited to computer, phone, copy machines, video equipment.
