Are you a jack-of-all trades across the marketing and communications mix? Are you interested in working with a variety of key stakeholders to help them build their profiles externally? Are you interested in working with a division that is evolving – and partnering with a team that is looking to build broader awareness for its products and services? The Corporate Solutions division of JLL is looking for a self-starter with a strong executive presence to build eminence for key stakeholders – and also work on ‘top of funnel’ initiatives to help position Corporate Solutions as the leader and preferred choice for enterprise ‘work’ services and solutions.

Job Summary:

This Sr. Manager will partner with key C-level thought leaders to create holistic plans that help them showcase their subject-matter expertise (primarily through earned and owned media). They will work closely with the Corporate Solutions head of Marketing on broad positioning and awareness building of the CS division of JLL.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate disparate streams of information from across the enterprise to develop effective communication, relationships, and products.
  • Be hyper-focused and act as a point of contact around key industry events, with a focus on creating and coordinating opportunities for both sponsorships and panel placements.
  • Oversee membership and sponsorship strategy with industry organizations, including brand activation efforts tied to conferences and trade shows.
  • In close coordination with the C-level stakeholders, assist with preparation of speaker notes, speeches, talking points and other preparatory material for external initiatives.
  • Work comfortably at the intersection of our Marketing, Consulting and Research teams to develop various forms of content and thought leadership.
  • Develop closely aligned partnership with public relations and internal/executive communications teams, working in coordination.
  • Identify opportunities to piggyback on key corporate and Corporate Solutions themes for infusion in all content, including sales enablement and client-facing marketing and communications.
  • Coordinate development and management of client references and case studies.
  • Act as point of contact for awards programs.
  • Work closely with field marketing teams to help develop signature programming around broad themes – ideally through the development of virtual and in-person events and workshops, direct mail programming, etc.
  • If and where relevant, partner with appropriate internal hubs to execute paid marketing strategies to amplify efforts.
  • In partnership with appropriate internal resources, identify KPIs and regularly report on the impact of our marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Build connections with global team members to ensure consistency of messaging.
  • Master the firm’s internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Poppulo, Workfront) and services to support integrated marketing projects.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that all marketing activities are aligned with the broader firm’s vision, priorities and marketing efforts.
  • 10+ years of experience with coordinating communications for a variety of audiences, including leadership, customers, stakeholders, and internal staff.
  • Experience building artifacts related to external communications and eminence building, including development of related plans and strategies focused on being ‘part of the fabric’ of the CRE space.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience drafting talking points for leadership, and preparing leadership for speaking engagements.
  • Experience with documenting best practices, providing recommendations on current business processes, and implementing new processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations or related field
