The Senior Marketing Analyst is a key contributor role on the Marketing Analytics team at Redbox that is responsible for analyzing operational, revenue and customer data to uncover insights which can be translated into actionable solutions that drive revenue growth and increased lifetime value of Redbox customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts in-depth custom analytics to answer key business questions about customers 
  • Conducts data reduction, segmentation and predictive modeling projects in SAS, R or Python (i.e.: logistic and linear regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis) 
  • Creates robust dependent variables for modeling from research survey and transactional data 
  • Performs complex ad-hoc queries and analysis in support of marketing and business objectives
  • Performs advanced exploratory data analysis and data manipulation to audit and assess data quality 
  • Proactively contributes ideas for new projects, streamlining existing processes, and enhancing analytic methodology 
  • Provides data insights and presents quantitative analyses in a format that is easy to understand for a non-technical audience

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS in a quantitative discipline required (Statistics, Business, CIS, Mathematics, Social Science, or related field); Master’s degree preferred 
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in a marketing analytics environment 
  • Experience with relational databases or Big Data technologies & analysis software required 
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Tableau required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Moderate proficiency with SAS or Python required 
  • Knowledge of core predictive modeling techniques & ability to build sophisticated predictive and prescriptive models 
  • 10-20% travel
