The Custom Foods Team includes NAF’s two highest-growing channels: Custom Restaurant Accounts and North American Retail Foodservice. We need your help in leading cross-functional teams, owning process development, and project management. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Senior Marketing Associate on our Custom Foods Marketing Team to innovate and create new items within chain restaurants like McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and KFC!

As the Sr. Marketing Associate – Custom Foods, you will be responsible for leading priority projects to deliver both topline and bottom-line growth. You will lead a cross-functional team of Sales, ITQ (Innovation, Technology, & Quality), Supply Chain, Finance, Channel Marketing and Consumer Insights to deliver competitively advantaged product solutions to win in our channels. Specific initiatives include driving capacity modeling conversations to unlock Frozen Baked Goods capabilities via External Supply Chain and/or internal Capacity Expansion. You will also serve as the connector to NAR (North America Retail) teams, helping to maximize capabilities (Innovation, Renovation, Strategic Revenue Management, Holistic Margin Management, Capacity) and increase channel profit and open new customers through non-Frozen Baked Goods opportunities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead Project Management:

  • Project Management and Commercialization: Lead project management and commercialization tasks on initiatives that unlock Frozen Baked Goods capabilities via External Supply Chain and/or internal Capacity Expansion. 
  • Lead critical project management tasks, including managing critical path worksheet (CPW) project timeline, drive input of cross-functional data for package creation/renovation (via ECLIPS & Step), provide critical sales material and ecommerce inputs (PIM). 
  • Deliver Topline Growth & Improve Profitability: Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute opportunities to grow sales, profit, & HMM 
  • Run the Business: Prioritize across dynamic opportunities and be a connector across functions to efficiently assess and lead projects from Charter through Commercialization 

Data & Analytics:

  • Lead volume and forecasting responsibilities for relevant Platforms, including providing support for the demand forecast and working with cross-functional partners to maximize service and minimize waste 
  • Provide data and performance summaries; translate insight into action 
  • Own reporting & communication (financial, project, HMM, risk/opportunity tracking) for Custom initiatives

Build Relationships with Cross Functional Teams:

  • Develop strong relationships across functions, including with sales, ITQ, operations, sales operations, and culinary. 
  • Provide key information input for sales materials

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3+ years of related business experience 
  • Background in marketing (brand, channel, customer or platform), sales, finance, supply chain or consulting 
  • Strong project management skills: ability to manage and prioritize across multiple complex projects (Attention to detail & accuracy) 
  • Strong ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent demonstrated skills in strategic reasoning and critical thinking – analyze wide range of inputs, identify opportunities, develop strategy 
  • Strong bias for action 
  • Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PNL/VEP financial acumen to understand how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers 
  • Large, matrixed organization experience 
  • Cross-boundary effectiveness with ability to influence across and up the organization. 
  • Adaptability and resilience
