RxFunction is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Marketing Communications and Brand Manager to lead our efforts in shaping how we tell our story. This role is essential to our growth as we scale our business, expand into new specialties, and build awareness of Walkasins®, our lower limb sensory prosthesis that improves balance and reduces falls.

You’ll play a central role in creating and managing a clear, consistent voice for our brand, while developing and advancing our brand guidelines and executing a multi-channel communications strategy that supports our commercial expansion.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Brand Development & Stewardship

  • Define and evolve the RxFunction and Walkasins brands to strengthen awareness and credibility across the industry.
  • Maintain consistency across all media and develop/update brand guidelines and style guides
  • Analyze market feedback and performance data to optimize messaging and positioning

Strategic Communications

  • Build and execute integrated cross-channel communication plan that includes digital, PR, events and content marketing
  • Partner with Product Marketing to create content and messaging that clearly conveys our clinical value, resonates with key decision-makers, and supports lead generation across targeted segments.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, clinical, and leadership teams to align messaging with business goals and customer needs.

Content & Channel Management

  • Develop and own a content calendar that aligns with clinical milestones, marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • In close collaboration with Product Marketing and vendor partners, oversee creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, presentations, videos, and digital assets.
  • Lead website content strategy including SEO and manage updates to ensure alignment with campaigns and customer experience best practices.
  • Build a comprehensive social media strategy from the ground up, draft audience-specific content and provide direction on any graphics needed for posts across all platforms
  • Develop and execute audience-specific email campaigns – leveraging A/B testing and analytics to refine approved messaging and grow engagement.
  • Identify, monitor, track, and report out on marketing communication metrics across all channels, partnering with cross-functional teams as needed to collect data. 
  • Develop and share quarterly marketing communications dashboards

Events & Partnerships

  • Lead event planning and execution for trade shows, conferences, and industry forums to elevate the brand and support business development.
  • Identify and build partnerships that can help expand reach or enhance credibility, including thought leaders, healthcare systems, societies, advocacy groups or veteran organizations.

Team & Budget Leadership

  • Manage external vendors and creative partners to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • Track spending, measure ROI and prioritize resources for initiatives with the highest impact.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 7+ years of marketing communications, brand or product marketing experience in healthcare/MedTech
  • Excellent storytelling and writing abilities with experience simplifying complex clinical/technical information
  • Proven track record creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Strategically minded, driven, highly organized, and an effective communicator (written and verbally).
  • Proficiency with marketing technology platforms (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, WordPress, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, content management)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience in growth-stage or startup environments
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes
  • Experience with specific tools: HubSpot, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Event planning and partnership development experience
  • Team leadership or vendor management experience

Compensation Range: $120,000 to $140,000, based on qualifications.
