Sr. Marketing Communications Manager

The Sr. Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the development, management and execution of marketing communication strategies, programs and activities. This position will work across the organization to refine our positioning and messaging and promote MGK’s offerings and expertise. This subject-matter expert will have strong project management skills and experience creating a range of communications materials and managing all communications channels. The manager will have strong leadership abilities, excellent strategic marketing skills and a collaborative work style to effectively operate across functions and divisions, internally and externally. This role requires effective leadership, partnership and influence of diverse internal and external team members inside MGK and with outside agencies. MGK is a lean, entrepreneurial environment and this role will require agility and creative problem solving.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop team of marketing communications professionals (three direct reports) 
  • Drive alignment with product marketing, tech services and sales teams to ensure priorities to drive business growth are clear and measurable 
  • Develop internal communication strategies to support Sales & Tech Services and drive field engagement 
  • Lead positioning strategy and go-to-market communication of value proposition for company, brand, product and portfolio offerings 
  • Develop messaging and creative concepts and deliver content that supports brand strategy 
  • Provide oversight of the development of all marketing communications program material and lead the planning of communication projects, including digital content strategy and management 
  • Develop thought leadership strategy; collaborate with product marketing and sales partners to develop content for demand generation, blogs, events, and webinars 
  • Develop and execute Marketing Automation strategy and content, in partnership with IT and Product Marketing 
  • Establish and report against campaign and tactic KPIs; test, measure, and analyze ROI on all channels and campaigns to drive efficiency at scale. 
  • Partner with Data & Analytics Team to build reporting funnel and scorecards, supporting strategic initiatives, that can be highlighted monthly with key business unit stakeholders 
  • Lead planning, support and execution of annual Industry Events (ie: PestWorld) 
  • Develop and manage agency relationships 
  • Develop, manage and support paid media plan to support MGK strategic objectives 
  • Ensure all relevant brand asset and marketing collateral is up to date, and maintain digital content 
  • Lead learning and development opportunities, as identified 
  • Manage marketing communications budget 
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
  • 10+ years of Marketing & Communications experience 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment 
  • Preference for experience in an EPA or FDA regulated industry
