Overview

The Senior Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for helping to grow all online marketing initiatives by adding excellent data handling skills and an analytical mindset to passionately identify opportunities and optimize the digital commerce business.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Monitor, analyze and make recommendations to optimize marketing & sales campaigns. 
  • Prepare reports that analyze historical marketing data to identify trends for future campaigns. 
  • Proactively seek, identify and evaluate innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement. 
  • Perform analyses such as industry and competitive reviews, consumer needs assessments, gap analyses, unique selling proposition development, market sizing, and business cases.
  • Collaborate actively with marketing, productand development to drive growth and optimization. 
  • Takes the initiative in suggesting and developing improvements to marketing strategies and procedures.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired, or equivalent with a 4+ years experience in Marketing or related fields, preferably in the online marketing industry.

Experience

  • 3-5+ years’ experience analyzing data in a segmented, multi-channel marketing environment preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret in-depth analyses, uncover actionable insight and effectively communicate to the broader organization. 
  • The ability to interact with senior level management combined with strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Assertive, take charge attitude, ambitious, creative, team player. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player to find ways to uncover opportunities.
  • Capacity to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced work environment are required.

Other Characteristics

  • An excellent multi-tasker, extremely detail oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment characterized by growth and change. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Excel (pivot tables) and Powerpoint. 
  • Advanced math skills desired.
