Job Summary:

The Sr. Product Manager will have responsibility for developing commercial strategies and tactics related to the CSI’s new market-leading coronary interventional support devices (ISD) for commercial success. This position is key member of CSI’s Coronary Downstream Marketing Team and reports directly to the Director of Coronary Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing marketing leadership for coronary products and programs to assure attainment of business objectives and revenue goals. 
  • Lead cross-functional team to develop and execute marketing strategies and launch plans for new ISD products to drive commercial success. Translate business strategies into structured marketing and tactical plans, and actions with measurable metrics. 
  • Execute market development strategies to enhance technology adoption and drive market growth (KOL development, pre-clinical and clinical data dissemination, technology awareness, competitive differentiation, etc.) 
  • Direct responsibility for beginning-to-end product lifecycle management, including product innovation and product improvement efforts within a cross-functional team, launch, and commercialization, and sustaining product and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue goals. 
  • Collaborate with the Upstream Marketing, Medical Education, and Sales Training teams to develop specific activities to enhance physician and sales force training, and knowledge of the products and clinical usage. 
  • Monitor new procedural insights and competitive actions and respond by recommending strategies and tactics to defend the product’s market position and grow. 
  • Develop productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. 
  • Provide support for field customer interactions, VIP meetings, and trade show engagement. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop indications, and pre-clinical and clinical evidence needed to support product adoption.
  • Manages programs and campaigns, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing agencies, and consultants.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree (preferably Master’s Degree) 
  • 5+ years required of progressive marketing experience in the medical device or related industry. 
  • Leadership in the successful commercialization of at least 2 new products. Preferably new catheter launch experience (i.e. microcatheters, guide extension catheters, etc.) in interventional cardiology. 
  • Strong product management skills, excellent communication, collaboration, and influence management skills. 
  • Demonstrated leadership to create and deliver on commercial strategies, market development and strategic product initiatives, clinical messaging and positioning, and competitive differentiation. 
  • Knowledge of interventional cardiology strongly desired. 
  • Ability to assess customer needs and market trends and translate into marketing and product strategies. 
  • Downstream product marketing experience in addition to upstream marketing experience, preferred. 
  • Creativity, competitiveness, and strategic insight to create and drive commercialization strategies and tactics. 
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time.
