Description:

The Strategic Communications team is responsible establishing and elevating the Trust brand across key stakeholders. This includes utilizing media relations, social media, storytelling, and external events.

Expected Assignments:

The Strategic Communications Intern will assist with research for talking points, scheduling interviews, photo sessions and videotaping, editing PowerPoints, developing social media content, tracking social media and podcast metrics, drafting news releases and web content, and supporting event planning.

The position is in the downtown Chicago office.

Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program within a Chicago area school majoring in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media/Marketing or related discipline;

Requirements:

The Strategic Communications intern will report to the director of communications, working alongside the vice president of strategic communications and director of public relations to support the Strategic Communications team. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must, along with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, is required. Experience with Canva and digital analytics tools is preferred.
