You’re a natural born problem solver who thrives on research, connecting the dots and writing engaging, smart content. You’re highly skilled at crafting articles that build a brand’s reputation as an expert.

You do your best work when challenged to go beyond the expected. You love learning about healthcare and you’re interested in making a difference for those working in healthcare. If this sounds like you, we want to meet you!

What will your day look like? You’ll hold a key role on the Brand Strategy Team writing about important topics such as Infection Prevention and the best practices and products that help keep people safe. You'll partner with our Senior Content Strategist, Creative Director and Integrated Marketing Manager, to plan and create compelling content that drives traffic to our website.

Do you see yourself doing this?

  • Creating the right content and cadence so that it’s aligned with the business strategy and brand positioning 
  • Identifying, acquiring and repurposing content for specific marketing channels 
  • Supporting the creative development and writing for a variety of channels including websites, video scripts, case studies, tip sheets, e-mails and more 
  • Working independently to solve problems and craft smart, thoughtful content that leverages the Medline brand voice

Strategic planning:

  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of business objectives and collaborates with team to define the most compelling story ideas and messages 
  • Assists in planning where and how content should be delivered to the right audience at the right time

Creative content development:

  • Asks questions and carefully reviews all information from clients to ensure information is accurate, thorough and fully understood 
  • Partners closely with creatives to develop and present ideas that help the business achieve specific goals 
  • Manages written content from conceptual stage through final production 
  • Changes course when necessary to adjust ideas or copy, addressing new feedback and guidance


  • Takes ownership and embraces complex medical concepts, translating that information into clear, concise and interesting content 
  • Ensures that everything is valuable to both the business and the audience 
  • Reviews analytics, spotting patterns and trends, drawing conclusions and recommending action 
  • Understands the brand well enough to infuse content with the brand’s voice and personality

Professional background:

  • At least 4 years of relevant content strategy, content development or marketing experience with B2B healthcare/medical 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, marketing communication, journalism, English or relevant field of study
