Position Details

Strategic Marketing Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

Position Summary:

Manages, develops and implements marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned product or brand.


  • Identify and manage the development of omni-channel product marketing campaigns at targeted audiences within your assigned verticals or application-types 
  • Collaborate with product marketing / marcomm team to interpret, report out, and improve campaign efficacy over time 
  • Perform primary and secondary research projects to grow institutional knowledge of the competitive landscape in support of product lifecycle management, development of value propositions & positioning statements, identification of niche markets, and competitive pricing strategies 
  • Partnering with product management, ideation, creation, presentation, and champion of new product or market growth opportunities 
  • Support mid-to-long term revenue strategies with business development team through improvement of lead generation process, creation of funnel management tools, and creating a coherent linkage between business development, sales, and marketing initiatives 
  • Development and maintenance of playbooks which articulate key features (differentiators) of products, communicate value props based on personas, and other items which help improve field sales efficacy

  • Fluent in computer skills (spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience and Skill Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 4 years of experience 
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals 
  • Performs a variety of tasks 
  • May lead and direct the work of others 
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
