Technical Writer

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer who will develop and publish business and user documentation for our back and front-office brokerage products, as well as communicate enhancements and resolutions to problems to an external audience. Projects may include documenting new product offerings or maintaining the documentation of existing products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, write, edit, and publish operational, instructional, and maintenance documentation for multiple audiences and media 
• Conduct interviews with users, customer service representatives, training staff, and product development teams to gather data for documentation and ensure timely delivery to our customers 
• Research and translate technical information into documents and communications for both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Suggest and develop new insights and initiatives to add value to user documentation products, communications, and the organization

• Bachelors Degree in English, Communication, Business or related field, or equivalent experience 
• 0-2 years related experience 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong analytical and organizational skills 
• Natural curiosity and willingness to expand skill set 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite 
• Experience with agile methodologies a plus 
• Experience with Adobe Framemaker, HTML, content management/single sourcing tools highly desirable 
• Knowledge of the financial industry highly desired
