Trade Shows & Channel Marketing Coordinator

Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is looking for a Trade Shows & Channel Marketing Coordinator.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for coordinating Wisconsin Cheese trade shows planning, logistics and execution with outstanding organization and communication to deliver an impactful brand presence and experience. Additionally, this position will coordinate marketing projects targeting the retail trade and consumer shoppers such as content updates, point-of-sale merchandising, premiums/swag, and promotional campaigns. This job is topped with cheese - - cheese makers, cheese retailers, cheese mongers, cheese sampling, cheese-loving shoppers, cheese recipes, cheese boards and, oh yes, eating cheese! All in support of Wisconsin’s dairy farmers. 

About You:

Candidates must have a minimum two years of experience in a trade show support role or similar. You should also have a postsecondary education degree in marketing, management or a related field. Your excellent organization skills, attention to detail and solutions orientation enable you to successfully manage multiple projects in changing situations under the pressure of deadlines. You are an effective collaborator and communicator. Prior experience supporting the creation and delivery of marketing and communications programs is preferred. Creativity, a good eye for design and copyediting skills are a plus. Importantly, you will positively contribute to a culture of unity and excellence here at DFW by being hungry, humble and smart.

About the Job & Benefits:

This position is located on-site at DFW’s office in Madison, Wisconsin. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. You must be able to travel as much as 50% during peak trade show season (May-June) including nights and weekends. This job requires physical abilities including lifting up to 50 lbs.  Compensation consists of a competitive pay and benefits package that includes a company-funded 401(k) plan as well as summer hours.
