Traffic Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Pewaukee, WI

We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to join our growing agency team! You’ll be responsible for internal scheduling of work throughout the agency and external trafficking of final creative assets to paid media vendors. Working collaboratively with account executives, you will monitor movement of all jobs through all agency departments (account service, media, creative, interactive/web, production).

  • The traffic manager is responsible for the internal scheduling of work throughout the agency and external trafficking of final creative assets to paid media vendors. 
  • The person is responsible for ensuring accurate input, management and trafficking of all broadcast, digital/online, social, and print media with external vendors and media providers.
  • They will have daily interaction with various internal departments in the managing and communicating of all traffic to media providers in a timely manner and within deadlines. 
  • The traffic manager opens all jobs entering the agency using our Workamajig agency management software system and works with others to assign a step-by-step schedule including project tasks towards the completion to each of those jobs as it is entered. 
  • Under the direction of account executives or project managers, the traffic manager monitors movement of all jobs through all agency departments (account service, research/planning, media, creative, interactive/web, production,). 
  • Each day the traffic manager reports on the internal status of all active jobs in the agency, assigning a status to each job. Everyone in the agency has access to this report via our Workamajig software system. 
  • The traffic manager also tracks and/or moves jobs from one step of completion to the next using our workflow software system. 
  • As changes in timing or scheduling take place, the traffic manager must be informed so an accurate schedule can be produced each day. 
  • Opens all agency jobs using our Workamajig workflow software system and notifies team assigned to the project. 
  • Reviews daily work schedule with account executives, creatives, production artists, and interactive/web development staff.
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail, be capable of handling a high-volume workload and work well under tight deadlines.
  • The ability to prioritize, proactively communicate, learn, contribute, and problem solve is a must.
  • Prior experience with Workamajig agency management software preferred
  • Prior advertising agency experience required
