UI/UX Designer

Clockwork would love to have you join our team! We are a digital agency with a 17-year track record of delivering high quality digital experiences for clients across industries and applications. We are seeking a UI/UX Designer who will partner with clients to help deliver user-centered and smart solutions for across a wide range of impactful business opportunities.

Working in our end-to-end digital agency means you’ll have opportunities to apply your strategic thinking and collaborative design skills at every stage of the game, from research to visual concepting to implementation.

In this role, you will:

• Design on-brand and compelling solutions that include digital products, systems, and business services. 
• Effectively apply a generalist suite of design techniques while thoughtfully owning decisions in either interaction/information architecture design or visual/user interface design (or both). 
• Conduct and translate thoughtful and ethical user research into insights and stories that lead to collaborative decision making. 
• Deliver value early and often by learning through iterations rather than waiting for perfect implementation. 
• Make recommendations that are data-driven and evidence-based and seek to validate decisions using best practices like analytics reviews or user testing. 
• Advocate for making our work as fully accessible and inclusive as feasible for the project. 
• Help clients and delivery teams improve their user-centered design practice by doing things like facilitating workshops, trainings, or other similar activities. 
• Proactively solicit constructive feedback from others to improve your work and participate in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorms. 
• Use strong communication skills to deliver compelling design rationales in both client and internal contexts. 
• Be comfortable balancing meetings, timelines and design work in a deadline-driven environment.

Clockwork values highly collaborative, flexible individuals. Our UI/UX Designers work within small, cross-functional teams and form close professional and consulting relationships with our clients.

Specific portfolio items that indicate fit with this role:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver most elements listed above 
• 4-5+ years of relevant design experience and an agency mindset 
• Strong expertise in both UX and visual design, and shows experience creating and working with design systems across a variety of platforms including web and mobile 
• Proficiency working in modern design tools like Sketch or Figma 
• Familiarity driving design in an agile delivery process
