About You:

We’re looking for a UI/UX designer to join our technology team and help craft digital experiences for the diverse set of tools that fall under the Fooda technology umbrella. You’ll work with our product management team, engineers, data science, and business stakeholders to design features for a range of users with different needs (i.e., internal employees, restaurant partners, accounts and clients, and our consumers).

As a UI/UX designer at Fooda, you are responsible for translating ideas and concepts from key stakeholders into thoughtful solutions. Attention to detail and an ability to deliver assets within a deadline is essential. Additionally, you value clear and transparent communication (you will need to communicate your designs to our development team and other team members), feedback (giving and receiving), and a collaborative approach.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with a product manager and the developers on your team to create visual solutions for business needs
  • Design features for a wide range of products, ranging from native iOS and Android applications, responsive web, and emails
  • Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute design work within your team’s roadmap in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand business and user requirements
  • Communicate designs, verbally and visually, to stakeholders and other team members, and productively address any feedback
  • Provide clear documentation for your designs and work with engineering through the implementation process
  • Perform other design-related duties, as needed

What You Bring to Fooda:

  • 3+ years of experience designing digital products
  • Understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and information hierarchy
  • Ability to quickly explore ideas (e.g., through sketching) and a strong, proven skill for creating wireframes and high-fidelity screen mockups
  • Great visual design chops and an interest in creating illustrations and/or other visual design assets
  • High attention to detail, and ability to design using a consistent design language, leaning towards components that are familiar and intuitive
  • Well-versed in HIG and Material design principles
  • Experience with Sketch and InVision

What We'll Hook You Up:

  • With Competitive market salary and stock options, based on experience
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision plans
  • 401k matching
  • Paid maternity and parental leave benefits
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Laptop and peripherals of your choice
  • Daily subsidized lunch program (ours!) and free food and beverages in the office
