Position Summary:

As a User Experience Designer, you’ll play a key role in defining our digital customer journey. Your design and functionality recommendations will influence how we design and build our e-commerce and marketing websites and will ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers and achieving business objectives. You’ll regularly work across multiple internal teams to prioritize user needs, design prototypes, and solicit customer feedback to iterate and deliver a world-class digital experience.

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, engineers, and others to drive user experience and interface design across multiple websites. 
  • Understand and empathize with our customers and work with internal teams to translate knowledge into workflows and customer journey maps. 
  • Generate ideas and present concepts in the form of sketches, wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes and other deliverables. 
  • Perform usability tests of prototypes, analyze the results, share feedback with the project team, and recommend enhancements for the next iteration. 
  • Collaborate with UX practice members to define, use, and improve our brand guidelines and design system. 
  • Work with developers to ensure designs are translated into working software that meets our brand, UX, and accessibility standards. 
  • Facilitate design thinking activities that draw out the information necessary to understand the needs of our customers and business.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human factors, or related field 
  • 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer 
  • Outstanding interaction design skills with a strong sense of visual design 
  • Experience creating wireframes and prototypes in Adobe XD or similar tools 
  • Experience facilitating usability testing 
  • Proven experience creating responsive websites through portfolio samples 
  • Thorough attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience working in a Lean / Agile software development culture 
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Heap Analytics or similar tools 
  • Experience working in a marketing/agency environment
