The Vice President of Digital is a proven innovator, responsible for managing digital operations across all Milwaukee Bucks digital platforms. The VP will develop and manage execution of comprehensive digital strategy, in line with organization’s marketing goals and initiatives, ensuring high performance in revenue generation, content creation and direct marketing across all digital platforms (including social, mobile and desktop). The VP of Digital stays on the cutting edge of new platforms and technologies in the digital sphere while leading a collaborative, solution-oriented work environment that’s driving value for Milwaukee Bucks fans, partners and staff.

  • Oversee the implementation of a multi-year digital strategy, and oversee development of content plans across all integrated facets of Digital, Social and Mobile. 
  • Collaborate with Bucks brand marketing and creative services to develop consistent strategies and executions across all marketing platforms. 
  • Manage, recruit, retain and mentor a team of digital producers, email and database marketers and social content creators, ensuring the career development and skill set growth of in-house digital talent. 
  • Drive digital growth strategy, participating in new and incremental business opportunities, developing new offerings and products to proactively meet and exceed partner and team needs. 
  • Work closely with the analytics department to determine the value and/or effectiveness of digital initiatives to better serve our partners and increase profit for the team. 
  • Collaborate with all departments (business and basketball) to identify ways to leverage digital and social media to help support the Bucks initiatives, goals, and revenue objectives. 
  • Oversee user acquisition and tactics to increase digital engagement and enhance the overall user digital fan experience 
  • Oversee coordination and integration of vendors and creative resources and manage all critical vendor contracts and ensure most-favorable deal terms secured to support and grow the business. 
  • Lead and oversee email marketing and marketing automation platforms processes and procedures to inform and gather data on our customers. 
  • Oversee database warehouse to better analyze, segment, acquire and retain customers
  • 10+ years of experience in digital/social/mobile strategy, content and media experience preferred 
  • Strong understanding of social media and trends in sector 
  • Strong understanding and creative mindset of database management and marketing including marketing automation platforms 
  • Track-record of successfully developing and executing marketing plans from conception to implementation 
  • Track-record of managing successful launches of significant digital media products or events on multiple platforms and products 
  • Proven leadership and talent management skills, experience successfully leading, and developing a strong and growing department or division 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required: Advanced Degree a plus; experience in an agency setting a plus
