Network Health is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This individual provides executive-level leadership for Network Health’s strategy and all marketing activities. This includes strategic planning and market research, brand management, marketing, lead generation and communication.

They are responsible for leading the development and execution of Network Health’s strategic planning to meet customer demands, organizational objectives, and regulatory requirements. This individual collaborates closely with the leadership team to ensure that strategic tactics are implemented, tracked, and adapted to support Network Health’s corporate goals, market position and growth.

The vice president of marketing and strategy ensures all media, advertising, digital platforms and marketing plans, operations, policies, procedures, and distribution channels support the brand position. The individual also represents the marketing department at an executive leadership level and manages a multi-million-dollar budget.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the development and monitors the execution of Network Health’s strategic planning, while engaging leadership and teams from multiple business units to implement tactics, monitor plan performance and achieve objectives. 
  • Gathers market research to assess information on market demographics, customer needs, competitor products and other market intelligence to identify trends and guide recommendations for new products and/or modifications to existing products. 
  • Actively participates in product development/enhancements, organizes marketing efforts for product launch, develops promotional plans, analyzes marketing campaign performance and conducts competitive market analysis. 
  • Serves as a key member of the executive team, facilitating strategic planning sessions and sharing ongoing market research to guide corporate strategic planning. Prepares market research reports for executive use in plan development. 
  • Oversees brand management, development and execution of the Network Health brand. Measures and adjusts attributes of the brand position according to market and consumer needs, managing constituents’ brand experience to assure alignment with the brand position and attributes. 
  • Manages or develops strategic plans in support of market and profitability objectives, while overseeing all communications related to the strategic plan for Board review and employee communications. 
  • Develops annual marketing plans and budget, employing all appropriate media and including metrics and success criteria. Includes monitoring national and local market trends and incorporating those trends into Network Health strategies. 
  • Responsible for and ensures all marketing and communications campaigns, advertising, digital platforms, sales promotions and processes support the brand promise, drive customer loyalty and increase product demand across Network Health’s Medicare, group and individual market segments. 
  • Leads Network Health’s advertising efforts in support of strategic goals and maintains relationships with outside agencies and vendors. 
  • Responsible for direct marketing and lead generation in accordance with regulatory guidelines. 
  • Leads and supervises marketing team, hiring and developing staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and managing performance. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field 
  • 10 years of related experience, demonstrating success in strategic planning and research, project management, marketing campaign development and execution and lead generation, preferably in a health plan environment 
  • 7 years of leadership experience
