Video Editor

Discover Mediaworks is looking for a Video Editor with 3-5 years of experience that can bring every project to the next level - an editor that thinks like a producer. You need to be fluent in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and have the ability to go beyond the software to tell a great story through image and sound.

The Video Editor works with the production team to craft the final story for our viewers - whether it's a TV Episode, Marketing Video, Commercial, or Webisode. This position is perfect for a person with technical, aesthetic, and collaborative passion. You will work with various producers in supervised and unsupervised edit sessions - so being a self-starter and having the ability to manage your aspect of the project timeline is key. Attention to image and graphic aesthetics and audio must be a priority. You'll also need to know the variety of file formats for electronic delivery to our clients and the web. Attention to project organization and file management is essential.

• 3-5 years of experience 
• Mac and PC proficient 
• Excellent time management skills 
• Great interpersonal and communication skills 
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premier & After Effects 
• Ability to creatively design and implement motion graphics 
• Experience working with producers within a timeline and budget 
• Creativity, collaboration, efficiency, and people skills are essential
