The Rep’s Marketing department is offering a highly creative internship for an upper level college student or recent graduate interested in pursing a career in videography and/or theatre. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with the creative staff & marketing department at The Rep, helping to create content about productions at The Rep. Interns will learn videography and editing techniques, and get a chance to create content for a major regional theatre company. This is a perfect internship for someone interested in building their portfolio. Summer, semester-long or full season positions are available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with video shoots inside the rehearsal halls & during Rep “Photo/Video Runs”
  • Create video content for E-Blasts & Social Media purposes
  • Collaborate and provide insight on finished products
  • Research assets needed for various video projects
  • Organize assets, and schedule talent for video shoots.
  • General office support
  • Other special project duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in arts, theatre, and/or videography
  • Previous experience with videography or video editing
  • Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite (ie Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Sense of humor and ability to brainstorm out of the box ideas
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube is a plus

PLEASE NOTE: Equipment is provided, but please note any extra equipment you plan to use.

This is an unpaid internship position that can be used for college credit if requested. Interns will receive complimentary tickets to Milwaukee Rep productions throughout the duration of the internship.
