The videographer/photographer is a creative and innovative storyteller experienced in developing engaging, original visual content across multiple platforms to enhance and support overall marketing strategy. This role is part of a fast-paced, in-house Wisconsin Historical Foundation team that includes marketing, public relations, social media, and development professionals who work in collaboration to grow awareness of the Wisconsin Historical Society portfolio. Responsibilities include the development of high-quality visual assets in a variety of styles and shooting locations, both in studio and in the field. This is a hands-on role that requires a versatile and accomplished professional experienced in both mediums who will take projects from the initial planning stage through post production – while tailoring content to specific audience segments. The videographer/photographer will be comfortable working independently and handling multiple projects at a time under tight turnaround.
The videographer/photographer may office at a remote location, but will be required to attend in-person events and meetings at Wisconsin Historical Society headquarters in Madison as necessary. Equipment will be provided. The role will also require travel among the 12 Wisconsin Historical Society historic sites and museums, which are located throughout the state.
All resumes must include a link to your professional portfolio/demo reel that includes examples of both videography and photography. Resumes without links to samples will not be considered.
