UW-Milwaukee’s University Relations Division is hiring a videographer for a one year contract to produce marketing, communication and social media videos. The videographer will work as part of an Integrated Marketing & Communications team.

Videographers in University Relations & Communications work independently and with Integrated Marketing & Communications colleagues and campus partners to conceptualize, plan and execute video and/or multimedia stories that promote the university. This includes shooting, editing, creating digital motion graphics and running livestreams. Videographers are responsible for project management, creative direction, writing copy for videos and publishing the finished product to the web.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Professional video experience including shooting and editing video

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, film, communications or another video-related field
  • Experience using camera movement equipment such as sliders, gimbals, etc.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere for video editing
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects to create digital motion graphics
  • Experience with all aspects of video production from concepting to deliverable
  • Ability to project manage
  • Ability to conduct video interviews
  • Ability to write text to accompany videos
  • Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in collaborative team environments
