Position Details

Visual Communications Design Intern - Summer 2021
Chicago Illinois
Chicago, IL

The Visual Communications Design intern position will play an important role in marketing. Working with the Marketing Team, your specific responsibilities include:

  • Design packaging artwork for Radio Flyer products. 
  • Design visuals for digital, on-line promotion of the Radio Flyer brand. 
  • Assist at photo and video shoots. 
  • Manage digital assets. 
  • Design material for internal customers, including sales presentations and company events.


  • The ideal candidate will be a college junior or senior, majoring in Graphic Design or Visual Communications Design with a 3.0+ grade point average 
  • Experience working with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign 
  • Creative, Hands-on, innovative; results oriented; strong ability to prioritize objectives and meet aggressive timelines 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team 
  • Capacity to understand creative/graphic trends and recommend visual and design direction
