Kolbe Windows & Doors is looking for a candidate to add to our team that will embrace our brand and will work within a passionate marketing team to communicate our message through our online channels. The ideal applicant will possess a strong knowledge base that blends web design, writing, technology and user experience, along with how to interpret analytical data to make solution-based decisions. This position will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and contributing to our company website, act as a liaison to third-party vendors working to optimize and leverage SEO/ SEM tactics, create and implement content calendars, and write high-quality marketing copy across the website as needed.

  1. Responsible for bringing Kolbe’s brand and narrative to life through strategic website updates and development across internal and external channels. 
  2. Brainstorm ideas and website concepts 
  3. Work within Kentico Web Content Management System to make updates and build out new pages of content 
  4. Collaborate in a close-knit partnership with digital marketing specialist and UX designer
  5. Proactively recognize digital/mobile user experience and improve websites to provide the best possible experience 
  6. Produce clear, compelling web focused marketing copy that follows voice, tone, and narrative guidance provided by marketing manager 
  7. Understand and support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for landing pages. 
  8. Proofread copy when necessary 
  9. Conduct website testing and document errors or issues 
  10. Stay current on company product updates and implement website changes according to content calendars 
  11. Act as main liaison to third-party vendor managing Search Engine Marketing and make suggested changes based on industry trends and company goals 
  12. Help to prepare monthly reports and give insight on website/advertising tactics using Google Analytics and Data Studio 
  13. Assist with social media scheduling as needed

  • Stay engaged andup-to-dateon current digital user behavior and digital design trends 
  • Execute work that is consistent with brand standards 
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards and expectations 
  • Sit continuously for 2-3 hourtime periods 
  • Maintain constant visual alertness for 2-3 hourtime periods
  1. Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  2. Experience working within a content management system (CMS)and HTML 
  3. Drive to continually learn and stay ahead of the evolving design and technology landscape 
  4. Superior creative and technical writing skills and experience 
  5. Ability to balance the requirements of multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines 
  6. Self-starting and comfortable working both individually and as part of a team 
  7. Desire and ability to learn quickly 
  8. Excellent organizational, artistic, design, creative and technical skills 
  9. Superior attention to detail 
  10. Must be dependable 
  11. Knowledge of window/wood industry helpful 
  12. Knowledge of Kentico platform beneficial 
  13. Knowledge of WordPress sites beneficial 
  14. Knowledge of Bootstrap beneficial
