What You’ll Do: 

Our Web Designers develop and implement art and design concepts for assigned Colony Brands company websites, email, and other web-specific support materials. You will ensure final art and html integrity of e-commerce and company design standards are maintained. Collaboration is key! You will work closely with our E-commerce Art Manager, Sr. Web Designer, IMS-Internet, Brand Marketing Managers, Art Directors, Managing Editor, Copywriters, Product Merchandisers, IMS Digital Account Managers, IMS Internet Merchandisers, IMS Email Development, IMS Web Development and Social Media Specialists to communicate each catalog’s strategic goals and brand message in an online environment and achieve sales and profit goals.

In addition, you’ll also be responsible for:

  • Understanding how to turn marketing messages into unique, appealing designs while maintaining brand identity
  • Using project management skills to develop and execute specific solutions to website content, email, and other web-specific support materials
  • Making recommendations for website improvements and enhancements to drive optimal usability, interactivity, brand awareness and sales
  • Utilizing research such as usability studies to ensure website pages and html e-mails are consistent, adhere to overall design concept, are the correct interpretation of design plan
  • Managing web design and web production schedules

We need an organized, motivated individual with exceptional design creativity and ability to communicate as well verbally as you do visually. Ideally, you will have an Associate’s degree in Commercial Art, Graphic Design or a related field. Certification in Web Design is also helpful.  In addition, we are looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Graphic Arts and/or Design, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in web and email design (HTML, CSS, JSP, and Javascript/JQuery)
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign)
  • High proficiency with online workflow and platform applications (Workfront, Salesforce E-commerce and Marketing Cloud)
  • Familiarity of e-mail trends, current design standards and usability
  • Above average organizational skills

We value in-person collaboration, so this role requires onsite work in our Monroe office Tuesday - Thursday. There is generally flexibility to work remotely for up to 2 days per week. To take advantage of the remote work option, you must have reliable, high-speed internet and appropriate home office ergonomics.
