Web Designer

As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for a variety of web and interactive projects for the sister companies that Corvisa Services supports, including design and development of marketing web sites, microsites, and email campaigns. You will work with the marketing team to develop creative, engaging, results-oriented web sites that get people talking.

As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for a variety of web and interactive projects for the sister companies that Corvisa Services supports, including design and development of marketing web sites, microsites, and email campaigns. You will work with the marketing team to develop creative, engaging, results-oriented web sites that get people talking. You’ll also work closely with our development teams to bring a critical designer eye to software UX design in order to ensure our products have exceptional appeal and usability for end users. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about current and emerging design techniques and digital technologies and seeking a place to bring their passion to life.

Job Description:

• Work with the marketing team to design, build & manage beautiful, modern and engaging product and corporate web sites
• Implement and optimize SEO, social media and other emerging technologies into corporate and product web sites
• Design and/or consult on development of highly usable and attractive UX designs for a variety of software applications
• Maintain and extend interactive brand consistency for multiple brand and product lines
• Develop engaging, creative designs for other digital components, such as email campaigns or mobile app elements
• Provide design expertise and/or execution for other print or branding projects as needed
• Stay current with emerging web design techniques and technologies and bring them to life in your work

• Associates or bachelor’s degree coupled with 5+ years of professional experience is ideal, however we are open to more experience or less experience paired with a great portfolio
• Must have advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript or jQuery, and/or comparable language
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Understanding of Git development framework is preferred
• Must have experience with responsive design and/or mobile design Must have understanding of cross-browser and/or cross-email client optimization techniques
• Must have a strong sense of creativity coupled with a solid understanding of design principles
• Ideally has previous experience designing for both B2B and B2C brands
• Experience with software application UX design is a definite plus
• Experience with usability design and/or conversion best practices is a definite plus
• Professional yet creative aesthetic – must bring a point of view but be able to work within and expand upon established brand guidelines
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
