Web Designer

Here is your chance to help tell the next chapter in our story. We are currently seeking a Web Designer to contribute as an essential member within the IT team in Lisle, IL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizing creative ideas with teams like Marketing, Communications and e-Commerce.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in design or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer or in related field.
• Demonstratable graphic design skill with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoship, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator.
• A strong eye for visual design and composition
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
