Renaissance has an excellent opportunity for a Web Designer to join our digital marketing team. Be part of a dynamic group dedicated to providing a great digital experience to site visitors. The Web Designer will support the marketing team in their efforts to promote a vast range of products. The Web Designer must have a great eye for typography, imagery and composition to create ads, emails and landing pages that attract users’ attention and increase traffic on the company’s website to drive lead generation.

  • Create mockups of innovative, eye-catching design concepts for testing and review 
  • Design digital marketing materials with a thoughtful understanding of advertising principles 
  • Adapt existing designs to different sizes, layouts or variations for implementation 
  • Follow brand guidelines, with ability to resize creative assets and retouch and source imagery 
  • Persuasively present creative concepts and contribute to the creation of innovative web presence 
  • Research, suggest and execute ideas for ads, emails, and webpages that form the foundation of Renaissance marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years within web design required 
  • Demonstrated ability in careful choosing of type, color, imagery, and layout for common deliverables 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams 
  • Familiar with email design principles and best practices 
  • Experienced in the use of Adobe CC design software and User Experience tools; XD and Sketch would be preferable 
  • Familiar with HTML/CSS 
  • Able to work well in a team environment 
  • Open to taking direction and being receptive in receiving critiques 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to details 
  • Must be adaptable to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment 
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt with team dynamics 
  • Desire to working remotely 
  • WordPress experience a plus
