McDill is seeking a curious, highly-motivated Web Developer who has a passion for the constantly changing world of digital marketing and web development. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining our client’s websites and custom applications, as well as McDill’s website.

Responsibilities:

• Create custom web experiences using HTML5, CSS (SASS), JavaScript, and PHP.

• Develop and maintain client sites powered by WordPress custom themes and Advanced Custom Fields

• Work within Sitecore SXA to author content ranging from single pages to entire sites.
 
• Build out templates for emails and landing pages in various marketing automation software including: Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot and Mailchimp.
 
• Provide support, knowledge, brainstorming, and idea sharing with clients, designers, and the AE team to assist with project scoping, idea generation and new business development efforts.
 
• Prepare and present innovative, strategic recommendations for client projects, which includes suggestions on technology platforms and UX needs.
 
• Oversee the web development process from conception, implementation, development, launch and maintenance.
 
• Consistently monitor digital trends and best practices for content and design for web, social media, and lead generation.
 
• Complete annual certification/training in current, new, and emerging web platforms.
 
• Attend client meetings and interact with clients personally for troubleshooting and questions.
 
• Develop and manage detailed library of web development policies, procedures, and checklists to ensure the highest quality work that adheres to the most up-to-date technical and developmental trends.

Requirements:

• Degree in Visual Communications and Computer Graphics, Web and Digital Media Design/Development, or similar, with 3-5 years of agency experience preferred.

• Portfolio / samples of previous work required.

• Competence/Strong Understanding of HTML5, CSS (SASS), PHP, jQuery/Javascript and WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Javascript / PHP specifically.

• Experience with Sitecore content authoring and marketing automation platforms is a plus.

• Experience with Google Analytics / Tealium is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and comfortable working in small teams.

• Confident, driven and motivated, and places a high value on producing quality work.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

• Comfortable working directly with clients and translating their needs/requests into action.
