In the role of Web Production Specialist you will support, test, maintain the corporate website and internal website and performs related projects as assigned by web manager. Consults and advises MCW departments regarding their public and internal websites; responsible for maintaining web standards that meet MCW policies and regulations; provides help desk support for web editors and contributors. This position combines editorial and technical skills to provide support in web production using various software tools. 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate content management systems in alignment with MCW’s mission and business goals.
  • Project manages and coordinates web activities with communications peers and institutional partners. Serve as lead on InfoScope intranet web efforts.
  • Manage webmaster help desk and provide oversight, support and guidance for MCW departments.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of web standards, best practices and search engine optimization methods that align with MCW guidelines and policies.
  • Participate with web team and vendors in the implementation of web-based applications.
  • Manage posting of intranet and public calendar events. Manage posting of digital media board content.
  • Data entry of provider information into Online Provider Directory (OPD) using enterprise CMS.
  • Adapt to changing technologies, learn and apply new methods for achieving mission and business goals of MCW.

Minimum Qualifications:

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of web production and or publication experience

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills, including above average familiarity with current versions of web-related software is required.
  • Experience in Content Management Systems (CMS), ideally Sitecore.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of information.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong ability to apply new training and experience toward mastery of evolving job requirements.
  • Results focused, takes initiative, sets high goals and works to achieve them. Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Photoshop.
  • Creative thinker who brings new approaches to solving problems.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Academic/healthcare experience
